What's Up, DOC?

Dexter got his DOC band on Wednesday. So far he is at odds with it, especially when we put it on him. I'm giving it two weeks and if his sleep gets really screwed up or if his skin starts reacting it's over and done with.

I know I've been lax in the pictures lately, so here are a bunch to tide you over because I lost my battery charger for my camera (AGAIN. UG.)

ALSO... There are lots of new folks checking this out. I'm going to reopen the option for anonymous comments. Leave some.

now on with the pictures:

*the last one is from October of last year. The one before it was taken today, in the same exact carseat. He's growing so fast.*

What is the DOC band for?

He has plagiocephaly, which basically means his head is flat in some parts. Sometimes this can lead to asymmetries in the face and to a greater extent jaw problems and things connected to that. His case is very close to normal, so much so that the folks at cranial technologies weren't even sure our insurance would cover it. As of right now he only has to wear it for 4 months.
